Packaging precision
Correct packing and packaging can make all the difference. Make sure containers are fully sealed, items are well-protected, fragile items are double-wrapped, and the parcel is properly sealed.
Address certainty
Incorrect addresses, missing postcodes and illegible handwriting are among the reasons parcels are not delivered to the correct location. Double- or triple-check the address and, where possible, print address labels rather than writing them.
Timeframe understanding
When it comes to same-day delivery, it is essential you have checked with the courier service that it can guarantee same-day delivery. Does it have contingencies in place? What transportation does it use?
Is there any special handling?
Some items must be handled correctly, with incorrect handling a major cause of dissatisfaction with courier services. If your item needs to be handled with care, or perhaps kept the same way up, have you made this clear? It needs to be clear both on the packaging and in the delivery instructions.
Check size/weight
Some courier services only guarantee same-day delivery if the item is within certain size and weight restrictions. If you have made an incorrect claim about the size or weight of your item, this may cause a delay in delivery.
Choosing wisely
All the above are null points if you haven’t chosen a courier service that is up to scratch. If you are looking for a same day courier Birmingham, reliable providers such as https://allaboutfreight.co.uk/same-day-courier/birmingham will ensure your item arrives unharmed.
