Improving meeting rooms

Business

Flexible workspace operators need to think about ways to improve the meeting experience.

  1. Allow members to book through an app

We are all juggling a lot right now, both in our personal lives and at work.

Your members are likely to need to book meetings on the move. It’s important that you provide your members with an app to manage all aspects of their bookings.

An app simplifies the process for members. It allows them to book rooms, unlock doors, and check in to their bookings.

You can also provide access to your Members’ Directory and Community Feed so that users can chat with each other and collaborate in your workspace.

  1. Check-in attendees

Reduce the number of no shows by encouraging members to check in when their booking begins. You can use your flexible workspace software to set rules that, if attendees do not check in within 15 minutes after their booking starts, the meeting room becomes available. 1. Place a tablet in the room of your meeting

Consider attaching a tablet on the wall of each meeting room or the door if you haven’t done so already.

It is designed to be taken outside of the meeting room and contains information about the resource. This includes its availability, as well as the amenities available.

Members can book and check in directly on the tablet.

  1. Signposts and names should be assigned

Signage is important for your meeting rooms.

Sign the door with either the room number or name. Consider themes when naming your facilities. Think of famous scientists and innovators, creatives that deserve more recognition or even the highest mountains in the world.
