Three Festivals that ARE still going ahead this Summer

Lifestyle

Going to a festival is for many people one of the best parts of the summer months, but this year many festivals have decided not to go ahead – due to the uncertainty of the pandemic and the fact that as well as the acts themselves they have to arrange things like the catering, toilet facilities, event medical cover like Outdoor medical solutions as well as finding all the staff that ensure this goes ahead and runs smoothly, you can understand why for many it was a risky thing to do in light of the pandemic.

However, there are plenty of UK festivals that are still going ahead, so if you want your fix of summer partying in the great outdoors, here are a few that you might want to consider…

Boardmasters- This surfers festival in Newquay, Cornwall have had a run of bad luck as prior to covid, their 2019 festival was also cancelled due to stormy weather (thanks unpredictable British summer!) But they are back in 2021 on the 11th August with top bands like the Gorillaz.

Camp Bestival – The perfect family festival where adults and kids alike will find plenty to keep them happy. As well as lots of fun family activities and the appearance of Mr Tumble, artists like Fatboy Slim and Kelis will be in attendance.
